How Booking Works

How It Works

We have tried to make booking a retrofit with us as straightforward as possible. Here’s what to expect from first contact through to your appointment.

1. Get in Touch

Start by sending us an enquiry (or email to info@audiupgrades.co.uk) with your vehicle details and what you’re looking to have fitted. Please ensure you include your 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). We’ll confirm whether the retrofit(s) are compatible with your specific vehicle and provide any initial information you need.

2. Your Quote

We’ll put together a detailed quote covering parts, labour and if applicable, travel to your location. Once you’re happy to proceed we will require a minimum 50% deposit from you (sometimes it can be higher but we will discuss this with you first) for the overall retrofit(s) and raise you an invoice accordingly for your review. Once the deposit is received, we will confirm receipt, book the job into our system and get all the parts ordered as required.

3. Parts & Preparation

Depending on the availability of parts, delivery typically takes anywhere between 2 and 5 weeks, sometimes longer. We won’t book a firm date for the installation until parts are confirmed and ready. This avoids wasted journeys and confusion for all of us.

4. Your Appointment

We’ll agree a date and time that works for you once we know the confirmed date of parts arriving. If you are not coming to the Isle of Wight and have asked us to come to you whether that is at your home, workplace, or another convenient location, we will co-ordinate that with you directly.

About Our Next Availability for Appointments

The “BOOKING FROM DD/MM/YYYY” shown at the top of our website refers to when we are next likely to be available to physically carry out the work, it is not a reflection of when we start the process. Once your deposit is received, we get the ball rolling immediately: confirming your job, ordering parts, and planning your appointment.

The date shown (which is updated automatically) takes into account our current appointment schedule, typical parts lead times, travel planning, and general scheduling flexibility. It’s not a guarantee and it may be sooner or later depending on circumstances, but it gives you a realistic indication of how far ahead we are currently working. If you have a specific date in mind or need something sooner, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
