Depending on your vehicle age and MMI system, we can activate the OEM Android Auto and Apple CarPlay function using the native hardware in the vehicle.
This is the factory-integrated system within your existing MMI unit. It is not a third-party interface or external add-on.
Once enabled, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay work through the vehicle’s original infotainment system in the same way as factory-equipped cars. Connection is a wired connection via USB.
We always check your vehicle configuration before confirming activation. This ensures the correct MMI hardware and software support the upgrade. We may upgrade your MMI and/or Virtual Cockpit as part of this process to ensure 100% functionality.
The vehicles listed here all can have this feature enabled depending on the MMI Infotainment system installed in the vehicle, so please send us your 17-Digit VIN and we can confirm for you.

- Genuine OEM Activation of Apple Car Play and Android Auto
- We may update your MMI and/or Virtual Cockpit software as part of this upgrade to ensure 100% functionality.
- Connection to Apple Car Play or Android Auto is via a wired USB connection from the USB port in the vehicle. We recommend the original phone manufacturer USB data cable for best results.
- Wireless Apple Car Play and/or Android Auto is not possible with the native hardware in the vehicle but you can purchase a wireless USB adaptor to provide this functionality.
