S/Q5 FY (Pre-Facelift & Facelift) – Advanced Tyre Pressure Monitoring System

The Genuine OEM Advanced Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) retrofit for the Audi S/Q5 FY Pre-Facelift & Facelift upgrades the standard ABS-based tyre pressure monitoring system to the full factory Advanced TPMS system.

Unlike the standard indirect monitoring system, which estimates tyre pressure using wheel speed data, the Advanced TPMS system provides live pressure and temperature readings for each individual wheel. This information is displayed directly within the MMI system and Virtual Cockpit, allowing the driver to monitor tyre condition more accurately and conveniently.

To support this functionality, replacement TPMS valves and sensors are required for each wheel. These will be supplied by us prior to your installation appointment and should be fitted before visiting for the main retrofit.

We recommend having the new valves installed by a local tyre specialist or mechanic at least 7 days before your appointment at Audi Upgrades. This allows sufficient time to confirm correct operation and identify any potential issues before the final installation, coding and configuration work is carried out.

Notes

• Price includes 4 x Genuine Audi OEM TPMS Valves and Stems.
• The new valves and stems will be sent to you via Royal Mail Tracked delivery so you can get them fitted to your alloys before having the Advanced TPMS system fitted by us.
• Typically, the TPMS sensors last around 5 years. (the batteries inside them are non-replaceable).
• Replacement TPMS sensors in the future do not need reprogramming. Just fit them to your alloys and go for a drive. They will be automatically detected.
• You can have a second set of valves on a second set of wheels (for example, Winter and Summer Tyres) and the system will automatically update when it detects the new TPMS sensors.
