Audi S/Q7 4M (Facelift) – Night Vision

The Night Vision system for the Audi S/Q7 4M Facelift adds a factory thermal imaging camera in the front bumper. It helps improve safety by detecting pedestrians and animals in low-light or night-time driving conditions.

The system has a longer range than the human eye at night. It can detect people and animals at greater distances. The Virtual Cockpit then highlights detected objects with a yellow frame for early warning.

If the system detects a potential risk, it changes the highlight to red. A warning then appears in the Virtual Cockpit and Head-Up Display (if fitted). If the driver does not react, the system can assist with braking to help reduce the risk of a collision. In addition, under certain conditions,the headlights will flash at the object detected to warn them. If your vehicle has Matrix headlights it will flash a specific beam of light directly at the object to warn them.
