Audi S/Q7 4M (Facelift) – Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE III Low)

This Genuine OEM Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE III Low) retrofit for the Audi Q7 and SQ7 4M Facelift provides a factory-style rear entertainment system using two Audi accessory tablets mounted to the backs of the front seats.

When docked, the tablets are powered directly by the vehicle to ensure they remain charged during use. They can connect to the vehicle’s built-in Wi-Fi hotspot or to a mobile phone hotspot for internet access, and can also be removed and used independently indoors like a standard Android tablet.

A key advantage of the OEM RSE III system is the secure factory docking mechanism, which locks the tablets firmly into the seatbacks. This ensures they remain safely in place in the event of an accident, reducing the risk of loose objects in the cabin. The tablets are also designed with automotive-grade displays to improve durability and reduce the risk of shattering compared to conventional consumer tablets.

The system is based on Android and runs Android OS 7, providing access to standard tablet functionality and apps within the limitations of the OEM system.

Please note that this retrofit is not compatible with vehicles fitted with Super Sport seats.

• Please note the latest software for these tablets is Android 7.0
• Tablets have HDMI sockets on them for media sticks.
• Tablets are securely fixed into the back of the front seats where they are automatically powered.
• Tablets can be removed from the seats and used indoors/elsewhere and connect to other Wi-Fi networks like a normal tablet.
• The tablets are becoming increasingly harder to source so we will advise on this at the time of your enquiry. We do not hold them in stock.
• If you have Super Sport Seats, then this retrofit is not possible.
