Audi S/Q7 4M (Pre-Facelift & Facelift) – Soft Close Doors

This Genuine OEM Soft Close Door retrofit (also known as Power Closure) for the Audi Q7 and SQ7 4M Pre-Facelift and Facelift adds the premium factory self-closing door functionality found on higher specification Audi models.

Once installed, the doors are able to automatically pull themselves fully closed when left in the half-latched position. If a door is not fully shut, the system detects the partially closed position and gently draws the door securely into place, eliminating the need to slam the door shut or reopen and close it again properly.

This feature is particularly beneficial on the Q7 and SQ7 4M platform, as the excellent cabin sealing can sometimes create air pressure within the vehicle that causes doors to bounce slightly back open when closing them normally. Soft Close Doors completely eliminate this issue while also adding a smoother and more refined closing action.

The retrofit can be carried out on a single door or all four doors depending on your requirements. Some owners choose to retrofit only the rear doors for convenience with children and passengers, while others prefer to upgrade just the driver’s door as it is the most frequently used.
