A8/S8 4N – Intelligent Park Assist

This retrofit enables Genuine OEM Intelligent Park Assist (IPA) functionality for the Audi A8 and S8 4N (2017+).

Intelligent Park Assist allows the vehicle to autonomously park into and exit both parallel and perpendicular parking spaces with minimal driver input. Once activated, the system searches for suitable parking spaces and, when a valid space is detected, the driver simply presses and holds the designated button in the centre console to begin the automated parking procedure.

For safety and driver control, the system immediately pauses if the button is released, and the driver can take over at any time by touching the steering wheel.

To support Intelligent Park Assist, the vehicle must already be equipped with both Adaptive Cruise Control and the Genuine OEM 360 Camera System. In addition, certain control modules within the vehicle must be running compatible software versions in order to support the IPA functionality.

Notes

• Car must have Adaptive Cruise Control (not standard cruise control) and the 360 camera system already to support Intelligent Park Assist (IPA).
• Certain ECUs may need software upgrades before the installation for IPA to function correctly (this can be done at the same time if requested).
• IPA controls the steering, braking and accelerator. You just hold the IPA button down to complete the maneuver.
