This Genuine OEM Audi retrofit for the S/Q5 FY Pre-Facelift & Facelift adds Hill Hold Assist functionality for improved convenience in stop-start and gradient driving situations.
Once installed, the system automatically applies the parking brake when the vehicle comes to a standstill, removing the need to manually activate the electronic parking brake or select “Park” in typical stop-and-go traffic. Activation is confirmed by a green “P” indicator displayed in the instrument cluster or Virtual Cockpit. To drive away again, simply accelerate as normal and the system will disengage automatically.
Hill Hold Assist is particularly useful in urban driving conditions, offering smoother and more convenient operation when frequently stopping and starting.
