S/Q7 4M (Pre-Facelift) – Side Assist / Exit Warning / Rear Cross Traffic Assist System

This Genuine OEM Audi Side Assist retrofit for the S/Q7 4M Pre-Facelift adds a complete blind spot and rear safety package, including Side Assist, Exit Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Assist for enhanced driver awareness and protection.

Side Assist monitors the blind spots on both sides of the vehicle using rear radar sensors and provides visual warnings via the LED indicators in the wing mirrors. As a vehicle enters your blind spot, the indicator illuminates, and if you begin to indicate or move across, it flashes to warn of potential danger.

Exit Warning adds an extra layer of safety when opening the doors. If a cyclist or vehicle is approaching from behind, a red warning light illuminates in the door or mirror area to alert occupants before the door is opened.

Rear Cross Traffic Assist (RCTA) assists when reversing out of parking spaces by detecting approaching vehicles, cyclists or pedestrians from either side. Visual and audible warnings are provided, and where a rear camera or 360 camera system is fitted, directional alerts are shown on the MMI display. If a potential collision is detected and the vehicle continues reversing, the system can also apply emergency braking assistance.
